my autumn in a post

I have been uninspired to write the last few weeks.  Maybe because things that are going on in my life are either unworthy of comment or are just not appropriate for the universal audience of the world-wide-web.  But I am desperate to not let this blog go an unfinished project.  Therefore, here is some picture documentation of my last several weeks:

A sampling of Austin's most delicious trailer foods:

Soul-soothing, creamy peanut butter brownies:

My friends and I made a meal out of 70 lbs of chicken, 40 lbs of potatoes and 10 lbs of salad...
then treated ourselves to a scoop of Amy's:

I said goodbye to this desk!  (And am currently seeking a new place of employment):

I got to go to a game... which we won!

And I realized that no matter how loud I scream the cheers now, it will never be the same as it was when I was 19, wearing an orange fringed uniform and shaking my cowbell with everything I had:

I have had the immense privilege of spending time with young people!  If life is starting to look bleak or I start taking myself too seriously, these guys help me snap out of it and lighten up and before I know it I am dancing in the living room with a 4 year old to "The Wheels on the Bus Go 'Round and 'Round":

I made ten loaves of pumpkin bread!:

I had a California Thanksgiving getaway vacation!  The turkey was named Frederick.  Thankfully, he was neither a pet or a household animal.  Just named Frederick:

Finally, a recent purchase that I can't wait to explore!:

There are my highlights.  Thanks to my iPhone camera for saving my blog from writer's block.  Perhaps I'm not the kind of person that pours out her soul into cyberspace.  Or perhaps I'm simply a novice.  I'm still discovering what a blog is even about; still exploring the possibilities.  I'd say I'm a budding blogger.
